The Compound

Skill: Snatch.  Spend 20 min working up to a moderately heavy double.

I've done a split snatch before, but this was my first time snatching (is that right?) so I felt awkward. I got up to 85lbs but I felt like I wasn't getting low enough. Jenna said that I was donkey kicking, so I need to drop instead of jump down.

WOD: For Time
21-15-9
- Push Ups
- Power Clean (95/65#)
- Push Jerk (95/65#)

Worried that I couldn't lift rx, so I did 55lb. I finished way earlier than most of the class (felt like I must have miscounted or something!). I should have done the rx at 65lb. I was surprised that the push jerk was lighter than expected. AND I finally got the power cleans!
